What CleanStreak stores
The extension stores the information it needs to provide its features in your browser's extension storage:
- Current and historical clean-day streak information
- Blocked attempts, visit history, and timestamps
- Configured blocked domains and cooldown information
- Settings needed to run the extension
What CleanStreak does not do
- It does not require an account or collect your name, email address, or payment information.
- It does not send your browsing history or extension statistics to a remote server.
- It does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking scripts.
- It does not sell, rent, or share personal information.
Browser permissions
CleanStreak requests browser permissions so it can detect navigation, compare destinations against its block list, show its confirmation screen, and save your progress. These permissions are used by the extension itself rather than by a hosted service.
Incognito or Private Window access is optional and must be enabled separately in your browser's extension settings.
Removing your data
You can clear history or reset progress from the extension dashboard. Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data in most browsers. Browser-managed backups or copies outside the extension are controlled by the browser and its profile settings.
Changes to this policy
If CleanStreak's data practices change, this page will be updated with a new date. The extension is free and open source, so its implementation can be reviewed alongside this policy.
